JAMINKYUNG x POPEYE Protein Gel Advertisement Project
'JAMINKYUNG', a Korean health care brand launched a protein gel in collaboration with 'POPEYE' character. To effectively promote its iconic collaboration, 'JAMINKYUNG' requested a modern yet creative motion graphics advertisement that incorporates original 'POPEYE' story line--saving Olive Oyl from the villain 'Brutus'.
To satisfy their needs, I came up with an idea to blend Popeye characters and storyline into retro game graphics such as 'Super Mario' or 'Street Fighters'.
